Project 30 Nature #12, At The Beach & Turkeys

 Project 30 Nature #12

I went to the beach today. The weather wasn't really good because of the haze but I did take some neat photos and after editing them they turned out really good.

I'm really digging this photography/editing/graphic thing. I had a lot of fun playing around with some of them. Maybe I will offer some of them up as backgrounds.

This photo below was taken by my husband this afternoon. These turkeys escaped from their cage and went jay walking. It was hilarious! Many people including tourists took photo of them running around.

Take care and thanks for visiting. 'Til tomorrow..

Triangle Circles Progress & Project 30 Nature #8

Hello again! It's growing slowly but surely. Slowly because I spend around only 30 minutes a day with it. I'm too busy reading! Surely because I intend to finish it. It's quite addicting to crochet, that is if I weren't so absorbed with my reading. Hehehe..

Triangle Circles & Project 30 Nature #4

Hello! Yesterday it was a star-in-a-circle-in-a-square, today it's triangles-in-a-circle. I just knew that I was going to make these when I saw the pattern at Atty*s. Her blog is awesome with lots of free patterns!
I'm not sure yet what this will be but I'm aiming for a bed cover. I subtracted and added a few things. In the second round, I chained 1 instead of 3 because when I added a third row and it looked too holey. I added the third round because the triangle turned out too small for my liking. The third round is like this - 1dc in all the dc between corners, 2dc before and after every trc, and in all corners, make 2trc, ch3, 2trc. At first, I struggled a bit with the joining but I figured it out after a while. You can find the pattern here.

Two versions of the original after being PicMonkeyed. I love the above photo with the linen background.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a lovely day!

Can You Say Superman? And Project 30 Nature #3

I swear I didn't plan the color scheme. I only realized that I was using Superman's colors while crocheting with the blue yarn. What is going on in my brain with these superheroes??
I found this star in a square pattern on Facebook. I might continue making more squares to be made into a cushion cover since it's solid and sturdy. Or I might not because it is a bit of a fiddly pattern. We'll see.

Oh my...
Project 30 Nature #3

These are some dried leaves of a mango tree behind my house. They remind me of autumn and it is autumn in some parts of the world now.

Thanks for visiting. See you soon.

Project 30 Nature #2 & #1

This is my second photograph for my new photography project which I named Project 30 - Nature because it's for 30 days. The plant is just one of the weeds growing behind my house but that tiny purple flower is pretty.
The above is the original after being edited. And I couldn't resist playing around with it using the Pixlr apps.

This daisy is the first photo that I posted in yesterday's post.
I hope this project will be a successful one. Wish me luck!

Pajama Bottom, Batman & Sunburst

Hi! All you lovely peolple out there! Here is my newest project which is a Sunburst granny square blanket or lapghan depending on my mood on how big I want to make it. The color inspiration came from my new pajama bottom. I just love the colors! By the way, that isn't yellow but mustard which I also love.
And this is my progress so far. If I wanted to use this blanket during this coming monsoon season, I need to work faster.
Those two circles reminds me of minions eyes.

Yesterday, out of the blue, my husband asked me if I knew of any store that sells batman costumes. That had me blinking. I asked him costumes with the cape on? Yes, he replied. I ask again, whatever for? He said..I think I want to be Batman. Hahahaha..of all things! Then I look at what I'm crocheting, why..these are Batman's colors! So, I'm going to name this blanket the Batman Sunburst Blanket. Or Lapghan.

Same, yes? How mighty he looks..
This tiny daisy I found beside my house keeps up with the color scheme.
I've always loved photography although I've never had a professional camera before. That's in my bucket list. I am aiming to do a photography project with a theme soon. Maybe anything to do with nature. Maybe I'll start with this daisy. Yes! That's it! I'm excited now!

Ok, that's all for now, I'll post again real soon. Take care and thanks for stopping by :)
